Matt Domino proudly presents his own label ‘Absolute Music’.
On this first release Matt follows on from his Bingo, Jerona Fruits and Shadybrain releases with his latest offering ‘Threatz’, featuring cuts from Jehst and Diversion Tactics DJ Jazz T. Cained by Bailey on his 1xtra show, this is hard hitting dn’b at its best, full of aggressive funk, tough beats and old skool ’97 flavour.
On the AA is ‘Embryonic’, a rolling slice of tech dn’b with an infectious groove that keeps proceedings dark but full of funk, making this a solid release that bodes well for a label concerned with quality not quantity.

Absolute Music is here. A label run solely by Matt Domino, Absolute Music will be bringing you the best in Matt’s grinding, aggressive funk, ensuring that “it’s about quality not quantity, otherwise I wouldn’t put my name to it”. The first release is ‘Threatz’ (as played by Bailey, Prolix, Break, Vicious Circle and many more) which features cuts by Diversion Tactics and Jehst DJ Jazz T, with Matt’s tech fuelled ‘Embryonic’ on the flip. The digital release also sees a dub version of ‘Threatz’ and a very tasty dubstep remix by Mike Lennon. The label plans to release a digital only two track single between each vinyl release, the first of which will be ‘Discipline’ b/w ‘Wingspan’. Keeping true to his influences both inside and outside of Drum and Bass, Matt’s music strives to provide a groove and danceability that stands the test of time, and Absolute Music is here to do exactly that.
