For our very first interview here at Rude and Rolling, we are delighted to introduce Drum and Bass producer and DJ, Foreign Concept! Matt first appeared on our radars as ‘Mad Rabbit’, but to match his new sound he took up a new name and has risen to greater success. After standout single ‘Jaipur’ on Ingredients, has found himself to be extremely desirable to larger labels and big producers too. Recently, he did a Critical mix for Fabric which you can listen to here. With singles coming out on Shogun, Critical, Samurai and Commercial Suicide, this man is definitely one to watch. We wanted to catch up with him and ask him what his journey over the past few years has really been like!
Recently you have been working with Critical and Shogun to get some big releases out. You could argue that they are two of the most influential and successful dnb labels at the moment, could you describe what it’s like working with them? Do they do things differently to other labels from a producer’s point of view? It’s been great! Ever since those labels have been around, I’ve been buying and listening to their music, so it’s definitely an honour to be involved with them. .................
