München! Wir freuen uns jedesmal aufs Neue eine dicke Party mit euch
zu feiern. Als Spezialgast haben wir uns was Besonderes einfallen
lassen: Seit Jahren nun ist PHACE von der internationalen Szene nicht
mehr wegzudenken und hat mit Soloproduktionen oder Kombinationen mit
NOISIA oder SPOR schon oft gezeigt, wer das Sagen im Studio hat.
Im Club läuft es ähnlich ab. PHACE lässt nichts stehen und spielt eine
hervorragende Show, die klar macht, wozu Bass im Stande ist.
Um die Sache abzurunden haben wir uns Unterstützung aus Berlin und
München dazugeholt. MC COPPA & DJ HOPPA sind beide EX-UK-Artists und
leben nun in Deutschland. Mit Releases auf diversen Labels haben sie
sich schon vor langer Zeit einen Namen gemacht.

Over the past years, Germany´s Phace has cemented a prominent role
within the international Drum & Bass and Broken Beats scene with a
plethora of distinct and outstanding releases on the scene’s most
famous labels such as Vision, Lifted, Shogun, Virus, Renegade
Hardware, Subtitles Music and Cyanide, amongst many others. His unique
sound is imbued with deep cinematic flourishes, explosive energy, and
a human analog touch, piquing demand for appearances at clubs,
festivals and within the music press around the globe. Voted as ‘Best
National Drum & Bass Producer and DJ’ in 2006 and ‘Best National
Producer’ in 2009 at Germany’s Future Music Awards, Phace has proven
what he’s capable of, both behind the boards and on the decks.Phace’s
gritty and rebellious debut album Psycho released in 2007 on the
Subtitles Music Imprint was voted Album of the Month in Mixmag, and
successfully garnered massive support by top international acts like
Andy C, Noisia, Pendulum, Goldie, Ed Rush & Optical, Teebee & Calyx,
Friction, and Spor. As a DJ, the Hamburg-based artist is known for his
precise and energetic sets, and his constant touring has taken him to
metropolises in all corners of the planet.
At the tail end of 2008, Phace joined forces with long-time friend
Misanthrop and launched their own record label Neosignal and unleashed
celebrated singles, remixes (for UK’s Hadouken!) and collaborations
(with Noisia, Misanthrop and Spor) throughout 2009. Phace began work
on ‘Phase II’ for Neosignal in 2010 and released his heavily
anticipated second full-length, From Deep Space. After a worldwide
album tour in 2010, 2011 marks Phace’s return to the recorded realm on
Neosignal’s set of singles, including the chart storming ‘Desert
Orgyr’.

The professional live MC/Vocalist is performing for 10 years now with
performances across 29 countries at clubs, events and festivals as far
as China, Singapore, Siberia, Russia and of course all over Europe and
the UK.
Coppa got an early taste of international work when he was offered to
be the MC/Vocalist for DJ Roobles, of the well known British bigbeat
band Kitachi, for the China Tour in 2003. The tour included dates all
over the country and culminated in a show at the massive Rojam
nightclub in the centre of Shanghai with an audience of 2,000 people.
From this point on Coppa had many notable appearances at festivals &
events such as Giles Peterson’s Worldwide Festival in Singapore
(alongside Diplo, Simbad, Kruder & Dorfmeister), opening a show for
Missy Elliot at X-Live Festival in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Pepsi
Sziget Festival in Budapest and a performance at the O2 Arena at
Pohoda Festival in Slovakia (alongside Audio Bullys, Miss Kitten &
Pendulum).
His vast experience in the live arena served him well - being
requested to host live dj sets for a wide array of international
Djs/Producers from house music legends such as Felix the House Cat, or
electronica giants Peter Kruder & Richard Dorfmeister, techno funk
star Meat Katie to jungle, drum and bass dons such as Aphrodite &
Nicky Blackmarket, Roni Size and Adam F.
Recently Coppa fronts the 9 piece Nu-Funk/Hiphop live band The
Q-Orchestra, signed to Freestyle Records UK in London. Having recorded
2 tracks for their first album “Journey through Sound” which was
released in 2010, Coppa was then invited to become the front man for
their live show performances. In summer 2010, Coppa performed with the
band in Greece; the highlight was for sure the show at Kotzia Square
in the center of Athens at the European Music Day Festival.
░░░▒▒▓▓█ HOPPA █▓▓▒▒░░░
Hoppa is a DJ with over 7 years experience playing at club venues,
promoting events and, more recently music production. DJ Hoppa started
out in London with a residency for Rollercoaster - then in wkd, Camden
Town. After moving to Leeds, Hoppa cofounded the "Central Beatz"
collective together with LD50 (Lethal Dose), Ruckspin and DLR. Central
Beatz rents out soundsytem and hosts a regular Drum and Bass event in
Leeds focussing on a wide spectrum of the music, not the mainstream.
After doing the rounds in houseparties and club nights throughout the
city as well as playing on Leeds Student Radio (LSRFM), Frequency FM
and winning the Frequency FM DJ competition, Hoppa moved to Munich to
continue studying and meanwhile develop his skills as a producer.
