Nach dem erfolgreichen Auftakt der NOIR - Veranstaltungsserie mit Triad im September folgt nun am SAMSTAG, dne 12. DEZEMBER mehr PITCH BLACK DRUM&BASS im ULMer CABARET EDEN.

Zum Abschluss eines turbulenten Jahres haben wir keine Mühen und Kosten gescheut, um etwas ganz Spezielles für Euch auf die Beine zu stellen: Wir präsentieren stolz den holländischen Ausnahmeproduzenten LENZMAN und die aus Birmingham stammende Vokalistin RIYA, zusammen bekannt für Hits wie OPEN PAGE oder auch BITTERSWEET Parts 1 & 2.

LENZMAN hat seit 2007 einen unvergleichbaren Senkrechtstart hingelegt: Vom absoluten Nobody hat er sich in kürzester Zeit zu einer Präsenz gemausert, um die man im Drum&Bass nicht mehr umherkommt. Sein deeper und souliger Sound, der stark von Hip Hop, Soul und Jazz beeinflusst ist, wird von Labels wie METALHEADZ, SOUL:R, SUBTITLES, SHOGUN AUDIO, CRITICAL MUSIC, SPEARHEAD, INTEGRAL, CIA, FOKUZ, HORIZONS MUSIC und vielen anderen veröffentlicht. Er selbst bezeichnet seine eingängigen Tunes "the organic grooves of yesteryears with the energy and forward thinking attitude of Drum & Bass music" und ist spätestens seit seinem Überhit "EMERALDS" in den Ohren der Kenner angelangt. Es folgten Übertunes wie HIGH & LOW, SUGAR HILL, RAGS TO RICHES, OPEN PAGE und BITTERSWEET 1 & 2, sowie REMIXE für Total Science & MC Conrad´s SOUL PATROL, DJ Dies´BRIGHT LIGHTS oder auch Bachelors Of Science´s ICE DANCE. Zur Zeit frickelt er an Kollaborationen mit Lynx, S.P.Y, Random Movement und - angeblich - sogar bereits an einem Album.

Die aus BIRMINGHAM/ ENGLAND stammende LAURA PACHECO aka RIYA betitelt sich selbst als Singer/ Songwriter, die ihre Songs und Lyrics selbst schreibt und durch ihre Melancholische und seidige Stimme besticht. Fast jeder Tune, der seit 2009 mit ihren Vocals verziert wurde erreichte Kultstatus und so kann sie bereits ein Jahr später auf einen Katalog zurück blicken, von dem andere nur träumen: OPEN PAGE und BITTERSWEET mit Lenzman, TESTIMONY und REDLINES mit Total Science (gerade ist der Break Remix von Redlines erschienen) oder jüngst SEEMS LIKE und FULL CYCLE zusammen mit DBridge, Instra:metnal und Skream sprechen eine deutliche Sprache. Auch sie feilt an ihrem Debut-Album und wirde Lenzman´s Set gehörig verzuckern.

Der Abend wird von der NME CLICK inklusive ihrem MC MARVELOUS abgerundet, die zu der musikalischen Vielfalt beitragen werden.
Das Eden wird mit einer Extra-PA aufgestockt, damit der Bass auch drückt wo er soll. Der Einlass wird ab 23 UHR für 8 EURO gewährt. Wir freuen uns auf Euer Kommen!
