Following hot on the heels of his collaboration EP with Gremlinz for Samurai, Andre Delgado makes his debut solo vinyl release as Homemade Weapons for Samurai Music in the form of the 'Kintaro' EP. Having been involved for many years in designing music in one form or another, Andre has always gravitated towards the extreme ends of the spectrum.

As Homemade Weapons, Andre has skilfully designed a totally individual approach to Drum and Bass that marries staccato percussion to a prodding kick drum with offcuts of familiar break sequences welded tightly to this new militant, voodoo like rhythm.

Gone is the cluttered production of traditional Drum and Bass, stripped back to bare essentials designed to make PA speakers bend to accommodate this powerful new pattern. Homemade Weapons came to Samurai as a fully formed artist comfortably hitting a creative peak with tunes like 'Kintaro', & 'The Gauntlet VIP' already created and forming the nucleus of this new sound.

Homemade Weapons has distilled a new rhythmic blueprint from other genres that is 100% his own and can undoubtedly be credited with a progression in the history books of Drum and Bass music.
